I did a new try to get it running today. I removed all previous unzipped files and folders from /usr/share/squeezecenter/Plugins/ Then I unzipped the files in /var/lib/squeezecenter/Plugins/. Changed the ownership af all files and folders to squeezecenter. Set the permission to all files and folders to 755. Restarted SC but the plugin cant be seen in SC.
