Generally the problems I've had with Squeezecenter on Ubuntu have been
related to problems with mysql/apparmor.

I upgraded a working 7.2.1 installation and it wouldn't respond at all.
I rebooted and saw database errors in /var/log/squeezecenter/server.log
files. Google led me to
http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?p=362150.

I didn't know how to "drop the database" so I did apt-get remove
--purge squeezecenter and reinstalled which fixed the problem. It kept
most of my settings if you're worried about that.
