This used to be a huge problem. I've not had it in the past year or so,
but I tend to pick hardware that is likely to be supported.

The lastest and greatest video and network cards are the biggest issue.

And low end embedded video cards are also a problem.

Its much easier if you get a cheap video card, and turn off the embedded
one.
