for what it's worth, the 9.04 upgrade destroyed my Ubuntu install. I think 9.04 has major fakeRAID issues, and thus unfortunately for now I have been forced to entirely decommission Linux on my main machine, which will now be Vista 64 only.
Shame, but a major screwup of the development community there - when hardware ssupport is expanded the testing should be more thorough.
