Apologies for probable idiocy of post, but I'm new to both ubuntu and
squeezeboxserver.
I want to listen to my music on the local machine, through its attached
speakers. I thought softsqueeze could do that so installed the required
java environment only to be told softsqueeze had been replaced by
squeezeplay. The page I am taken to doesn't have a linux downloadable
file for this software - is it just hiding somewhere :) and is this the
bet route to listen to my music?

I am aiming to buy a new radio in due course, but want to test the
software first.

Any help appreciated.

Angus
