You could try and compile it yourself from svn, maybe it does compile and maybe even work! :) It wouldn't compile for me on Ubuntu 9 64Bit (my server), so I tried it on 32Bit Arch (my laptop) and it would compile and work, ONCE. After a reboot I don't get any sound output anymore :( and I haven't found the reason yet why this is so.
