The Fit only comes with 160GB drive, and in 2.5 inch flavour, which are more expensive than 3.5 inch (desktop) hard drives.
Also, whilst the fit is very 'green' (<10W) you need to add on the wattage of any external drives you may add. I measured my 500GB USB at ~8W.
