I don't think it's a problem with squeezeslave, but I'm bias ;-) There are other posts like 'this' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=71949) one describing similiar issues with the hardware players.
Are there any messages in the log file when the player stops? What you describe with the audio and OSS points to issues with the latest portaudio snapshot. First thing I'd suggest is remove all traces of 7.4.1 and downgrade SC to 7.3.4. and continue using the alsa version you built in post #3. If the problem persists change line 18 in the makefile and rebuild. Make sure you issue the make realclean first. LIBPORTAUDIO=pa_snapshot-20090419 If SS still stops, change the retry model by removing -DUSE_SIGNALS_FOR_RESTART from the CFLAGS on line 9 and rebuild again. Also, but not related, I'd suggest updating you're command line to remove the spaces between the options. /usr/local/bin/squeezeslave.alsa.c3 -o0 -M/home/juke/squeezeslave.log -r10 -m00:00:00:12:34:56 server_ip -- ralphy ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ralphy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3484 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=71894 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
