So, with 7.6, trying:

Even adding the --prefsfile= arg and pointing it at the server.prefs
file doesn't seem to help.
Is there an arg that should be used to point scanner.pl to the db? I
tried starting a rescan via the webUI and then capturing the running
processes with 'ps ax'...but you've made the 'scan for new' so damn
fast that I can't catch it in time!
