No, it isn't scanning. I DID have some problems with the thing scanning to frequently, for whatever reason, but even when it isn't scanning, CPU usage stays the same. No music playing, no difference whether the units are on or off, either. So, the squeezeserver is used for things like Pandora and Live Music Archive, right? I've just been turning off the squeezeserver to keep things running smoothly. I can still play music from my hard drive to the SB units. I don't use Pandora much, anyway. It is odd, though. Now I see that in the output from top -n 10 that even when I stop the process squeezeserver there is still something from that same user running (see attachment), but at least whatever it is doesn't seem to be taking much CPU power. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: processes.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=13291| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jwb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8116 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=94778 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
