Yes, that should be possible. However, note that in most people's experience (including mine) the output from the on-board 3.5mm plug is quite noisy. Folks seem to be trying to use a USB DAC to try to make the output cleaner. I have not yet gone down that path. If it helps, here's the commands I used to get Squeezelite up and running on my RPi: cd /usr/bin sudo wget "http://squeezelite.googlecode.com/files/squeezelite-armv6hf" (NOTE: EXCLUDE THE QUOTES. I added them to disable hyperlinking in my post) sudo chmod 755 squeezelite-armv6hf Then simply run the squeezelite-armv6hf file. This should get the Squeezelite working. To check you can run the command top and see if there is a squeezelite process running. If it is running you should be able to access Squeezelite via the LMS web interface. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ChrisNY's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5004 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97046 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
