Given that it does not have an interface of it's own you have to use another interface . like the web UI extras music source or iPeng . I tried but it does not apear to work properly ? I do know that it is bit hit and miss to actually register a soft-player on mysb.com strictly it is probably not allowed, but don't be to loud mounted if some of your soft-players are ;) Testing none of my softplayers switch over properly when using web-UI or iPeng , they are registred and can use all my apps thru my local server but they seem not be able to do a direct connection . Yea I think this is the expected behaviour as it was the money from your hardware squeezebox that financed mysb.com in the first place so no free lunch . So soft-players are granted enhancement through the LMS squeezebox integration using all apps etc but not direct connection, seems fare to me . This was the state years ago ,but i had to test to confirm. Squeezelite got a setting Mac adress ,wonder what happens if use the mac from one of my retired squeezeboxes they all start with 00:04:20: etc ............ If you intend to try don't make up an address from nothing you could screw someone else , thats bad karma . ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mnyb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4143 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97046 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
