Oh right. I didn't know that. I remembered reading an old data sheet,
from the R2R era, talking about segmented DAC's, using one DAC for x
LSB's and another for the MSB's.... I did send an email back to the
"Korean" saying that I didn't understand what he was trying to say and
asking if he could explain, but never heard from him again.

Explain it.... LOL. I'm trying hard to get rid of the picture I
currently have in my head. I think I would have grabbed the kids hands,
led them in the opposite direction, and said something to the effect,
"that the camels are busy at the moment, we'll come back later".
