So, in anticipation of the HiFiBerry DAC I ordered on Friday, I now have a new 512M Pi with the P5 connector holes, etc. But I can't get it to run on any recent version of PiCorePlayer:
Versions 1.10, 1.09 and 1.08 all cause similar failures to those noted in my earlier post (#657, 2014-01-10, 05:49) - at times the crash occurs before the SqueezeLite player is loaded, mostly it loads squeezelite and even plays for a minute or two, at least on 1.08 Hardware is very basic: Model B, 512M, UK-made, not Hynix as fas as I know (RAM is SAMSUNG), just direct ethernet connection, no wifi, no USB. SD card is a Kingston class 4 4GB, over-write formatted between tests of each version. PSU is a good 2A one that I have used on the old Pi for a year or so. Any ideas, suggestions?
