It took less than a second to receive the picture of 55731 bytes size. Yet it wasn't shown. What debug option would I need to get more information where it might fail?
Ok, this probably isn't a jivelite issue after all: it's failing on jpeg files and on my Pi only. PNG are shown ok on the Pi as well as jpeg on OSX. FWIW: jivelite on pi displayed a cover which my ReadyNAS Duo v2 (arm based) had to download and resize from a 4.5MB/1500x1500px just fine. It took the combo several seconds to download and process the file, but nowhere near the timeout.
Now what's next: what can I do to figure out what is causing jpeg files to fail in Raspbian?
