@Triode: Thanks but that makes no difference. I have done some more testing and found this happens when playing a longer song doesn't seem to happen when playing shorter ones. Also, when it has occured lately, it happens just before the screensaver kicks in the screen may blink at that moment I htink is when the stuttering starts. It does not happen every time though. Could a larger stream or output buffers help? What size are these buffers if not specified?
