Tried that on Windows, returns a "cannot find ownership information" error. CurrPorts from Nirsoft and Tcpview from SysInternals both return 0.0.0.0:9000 "Listening" being used by the System otherwise they show blank information. It obviously is a System spawned process, just a matter of finding just what starts and uses port 9000. Tried looking with Autoruns but nothing I can find there either that looks promising. Looked at most of the known TCPIP information gatherers and they are all the same, blank information for whatever is using 0.0.0.0 port 9000, that's what is weird. Thanks though, still looking, Russell. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ soundbyte's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=65502 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97803 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
