No, the server needs to be restarted, but that's OK. For me, it's a small price to pay if I can keep the favorites (pretty much entirely Internet radio streams) synchronized without having multiple files to worry about. Thank you for your script suggestion, but I think if I wind up going the script route it would be much simpler to have one just re-create the symlink. I haven't been able to figure out when or why LMS deletes the symlink and re-creates a physical file. It doesn't seem to happen at bootup or if I restart the server. It will be as I expect it for a day or two, then suddenly the link is gone and the physical file is back.
