OK - uninstalled and reinstalled as few times - no difference. I wonder

There seems to be a problem with Perl 5.24 in this regard. See

paul - can file be edited in this LMS setup? I haven't looked into this
yet, as I didn't want to install Perl 5.24 on an otherwise working
system. But piCorePlayer & LMS would be easy enough to set up to do some
testing if the files were editable.
