The difference between the huge distributions and pCP is that we don't
run large resource hogging daemons.  The network managers can cycle
through various settings when a connection fails, we cannot.  In the
majority of the cases everything works fine.    Without having access to
your WAP's there is not much else I can offer, other than some command
line stuff.

Since it seems you can connect a keyboard and monitor to your zeroW,
there are a few things to run through.  Once the device has fully
booted,  What is the output of this command?   sudo iwlist wlan0
scanning

There should be a whole bunch of WAP data printed,  mainly interested in
the data regarding the cell you are trying to connect.
