Thank you very much for the advise. Didn´t know this section of the setup. I changed the time server to my local Fritzbox and now everything is going fine. Bootup is much faster, even with the USB sda1 mount and my Squeezebox Radio shows the time in standby mode now. I don´t why this is working better because reaching pool.ntp.org was no problem when I tried to reach it from console.
