Yesterday on two seperate rpi 3b (same firmware as listed above) I did the following Burned an image of pcp v6.0.0. Filled in the wpa_supplicant.conf.sample file, renamed it. Both rpi booted successfully, I had a monitor connected. On both, I expanded the FS and did an insitu upgrade to v6.1.0. On both the downloads and install went fine.
