Thanks CJS. I have updated Squeezelite, pCP and also several times LMS since my first post, but to no avail unfortunately. "Downgrading" to 7.9.3 was one of the first things i did to try and solve the issue. Only i wasn't able to. Got a message saying something like "7.9.3 is already the newest version" and 8.0.0 was not substituted. Strange... Could try it again though.
