Well, as I understand it, the bootloader EEPROM is being updated with regard to offering the USB boot facility as a (simple) option. It has been at "Stable" status for a while now).
I don't think it does much for a SD card. I run my LMS on a Samsung M3 USB disk, connecting to a rpi4b. The rpi4b starts to soft throttle at about 80oC, I would think that it should still function correctly. Maybe open a browser tab for the CPU temperature and just look at it periodically. Why the rpi drops off the web gui I don't know. Look in the server log for any messages. It might help to reserve the IP address of the rpi in your router. ronnie ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Man in a van's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=43627 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112456 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
