I have recently replaced a raspberry pi 4 which broke (sd card and holder). I have loaded the new pi with rp4 graphical interface and kodi, and also behind the scenes squeezelite. Essentially the same as I had in the previous pi. I have a Topping DS10s which is connected by USB to the pi and use this for all audio output. I run logitech media server on a nas for audio. Most of my audio files are not high res but I have a few at 98. In my previous set up these ran fine but for some reason they will not run as high res now. The obvious point is just do what you did before - unfortunately I cannot remember the precise settings. What I can say is that apart from not running 98bps files the system works well. However it is frustrating and a bit puzzling why it will not play the high res files at the correct resolution (they play fine at 48bps). I have checked with cat /proc/asound/card0/stream0 and the output gives the whole range as you would expect but for some reason these are not getting to the DAC or the DAC is not recognising them. I am pretty sure there is nothing wrong with the dac. I have it set as the default sound card and as said above it works fine with kodi video files. Help would be appreciated. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ crrc's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66599 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112025 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
