short version: 2 pCP devices, very similar, with very different SD
Image file sizes.

long version:
I have two players, one based on rPi zero-w and one based on rPi 3, both
using hifiberry DACs. They are configured identically - same SD card
size (8 gb), same partition sizes (2 gb for pcp), same disk usage on pcp
partition (~71 mb), same extensions. Neither are running LMS.

When I do SD Image backups on these to an SMB attached drive, the file
sizes are very different.

The rpi 3 backup is about 111 mb, the rpi zero is about 652 mb.

Code:
--------------------

  -rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 111M Feb 19 15:25
pCP-pCP7.0.1-2068mb-20210219152344.img.gz
  -rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 652M Feb 19 15:39
pCPzero-pCP7.0.1-2068mb-20210219152831.img.gz

--------------------

I have minor/patch/extensions updated them both.

The only difference I can see is the version of linux running:

Code:
--------------------

  piCorePlayerZero | piCorePlayer v7.0.1 | www v00016 |
*_linux_5.4.83-pcpCore_* | piCore v12.0pCP | Squeezelite v1.9.8-1344-pCP
  piCorePlayer | piCorePlayer v7.0.1 | www v00016 |
*_linux_5.4.83-pcpCore-v7_* | piCore v12.0pCP | Squeezelite v1.9.8-1344-pCP
--------------------

I thought I built these both from the same (32-bit) downloaded image
file. I am likely missing some basic explanation for the large size
difference, wondering if anyone can shine some light on it? More for my
understanding or for me to fix whatever I've done wrong, disk space for
images is not that big a deal.

Thanks,

TomS
