Two reminders.
Don't forget that OSX goes on an 8 GB partition. If you can't start OSX 
from the install disk, or it doesn't complete the install, the first 
thing to suspect is the CDROM drive. Some say the internal isn't fast 
enough, some say there's a termination problem, but it's definitely the 
first thing to suspect. I have an external CD burner that solved my 
problem.

Someone else may have experience with your two video cards.
