Add me to the list of recent successful installs of 10.2 on an upgraded PPT with a MaxPowr G3 card. As I was going through the install I did notice it said it was not recommended on a 603-604 machine but would understand if someone were willing to try it, especially if running a server.
I used the latest 2.2 XPostFacto and it went in without a hitch. I could not get the software I had earlier ordered from Sonnet (PCI X) to work. I'm going to try to get my money back but we'll see how far that goes. Mark, since you are running the server on a 604e you may well be the guy to offer many of us some support with that configuration. Thanks for letting us know it can even be done. Has anyone else had trouble with using Sonnet's PCI X software but were able to use XPostFacto? The guy at Sonnet told me they were nearly identical in what they did, but man I just couldn't get Sonnet's to boot the 10.2 install CD no matter what I tried. Again, thanks for the inspiration you guys have provided to bring me back to X Larry > >From: Tim Maloney <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >>Think of it this way.
