I'm not sure how much this has been discussed already so please
pardon me if I'm being redundant. I had to run a test today on my
clone and it required me to use "thousands of colors" instead of the
millions I use when I'm running 9.1 What I noticed is that the
speed of 10 improved after the settings change. I'm thinking I might
leave it at thousands unless I need millions for whatever reason.

If anyone can vouch that using thousands of colors speeds things up a
little, please jump in and let us know. Perhaps this was already
common knowledge.
