hello out there,

i've partitioned my drive into osx, os 9, apps, working and 4 scratch
disks. a while ago i wrote to the list asking how i could change the
home button (and anything relating to it) to go some where else, eg my
working disk.

having played around in the netinfo manager i've found that you can
change the 'home directory. load it up, click on 'users' in the second
panel and then click your username.

if you clikc the padlock to get at the settings you can change your
'home' directory!! yay!!

so my question is, how do i target my working disk???

would it be something like:

/volumes/working

any feedback before i lose all my work would be great!!

cheers,

jake
