I have a pretty revived Umax S900 as well (but i need to get some more
hardware--still working with the stock Twin Turbo)

Why would you want to turn off the VM? I have 416Meg of RAM and only
400 meg of free disk space--If I move to a bigger scsi drive, wouldn't
I want a bigger VM? (even though I got a fair amount of ram?)

Also, a friend wants to sell me his ATI RAge 128 16meg ram card. Can
anyone tell me how it performs on their UmaxS900? Will acceleration be
decent?
