A one gig hard drive!? Whoa! Before I even thought of going to OS X, I decided to get a larger one. I started off with a 1.2GB on a 7300/200 that has been steadily added onto and upgraded in order to efficiently run the OS. Right now I have 2 HD's, one 9GB and one 4.5GB and added memory, from 32MB to start to 412MB now. Perhaps you should consider this path so that you would have full functionality of the OS?
