---------------------- Duane Bluhm Writes Can anyone advise if a list of drives supported by Apple's Drive Setup exists anywhere? I am unable to install OS-X with XPostFacto on my installed Western Digital drive, as it is not supported.......
----------------------- You can hack OS 9 Drive Setup to initialize Western Digital drives. I've done it with a couple of Western Digital 18 GB SCSI's You might try this link for info on the hack: <http://www.euronet.nl/users/ernstoud/drvsetup.html> I recently used the "QUANTUM,*" (resource 299) as the model for my newly created "WDIGTL,*" resource which is listed as 128. When you open the resource fSCR from Drive Setup you will see a list of the supported drives I have little experience using ResEdit but after a couple of attempts I got it right. I can post more details if needed or I can send you the Western Digital hacked version of DS if you need it. Good luck --glen __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
