Has anyone tried Final Cut Express on unsupported Macs? iMovie 2.1.1 works OK in my 8600/XLR8 G4 450 but iMovie 3.0.1 was a complete disaster with my setup:
Export to tape stuttered so that the video frame rate was about 1 frame per second or even several seconds per frame!! It is like watching a slide show instead of a video and I'm not kidding! Also the audio stuttered badly. iMovie also crashed a couple of times (v2.1.1 never crashed). I'm using 10.1.5 -- is there any difference whether you are using 10.1.5 vs 10.2 with iMovie 3.0.1?
