Oddly enough, I've never had problems with iTunes on my Umax S900. (XLR8 G3/300) Running either under 9.1 or (my main OS) 10.x. I started with iTunes 1 under 10.1.3 and went all the way to 10.2.6 with iTunes 4 (4.0, not 4.0.1) without an issue. This was the same with a simiularly upgraded 8500.
Maybe it was more of a software issue? I haven't heard of many people having problems with iTunes on unsupported machines. Now if I could get 10.2 to actually work on my 8600 Kansas, I'd be really happy. Damn kernal panics... -Rob <quote who="John McGibney"> > I just downloaded and installed iTunes 4.0.1 on my 9500.
