Yea, ditto. I've never had a problem with itunes on any of my machines - supported or unsupported.
I've got more of problem with the fact that this latest itunes update isn't much more than a veiled attempt at pushing a (useless) service for a fee disguised in a software update. Heck, even some of the stations on itunes have gone to a "for subscribers only" status. At least I can still turn the stereo on for free.

Also got 10.2.6 running on an 8600 with no problems, works fantastic. It's the beige G3 that won't take 10.2 - figure that one out - it just keeps restarting over & over every time I try. Actually I think I've got it narrowed to just a couple of things but I've had neither the time or patience for it lately.

Oddly enough, I've never had problems with iTunes on my Umax S900. (XLR8
G3/300) Running either under 9.1 or (my main OS) 10.x. I started with
iTunes 1 under 10.1.3 and went all the way to 10.2.6 with iTunes 4 (4.0,
not 4.0.1) without an issue. This was the same with a simiularly upgraded
8500.

Maybe it was more of a software issue? I haven't heard of many people
having problems with iTunes on unsupported machines.

Now if I could get 10.2 to actually work on my 8600 Kansas, I'd be really
happy. Damn kernal panics...

I just downloaded and installed iTunes 4.0.1 on my 9500. Guess what? IT
WORKS!!!!
Yes folks you too can use advanced iTunes feature on your unsupported
Mac.

I tried both iTunes 2 and 3 on my Jaguar equipped 9500 and neither
worked. both would refuse to play music eventhough the song timer would
advance (a common complaint). Now they play! And I can share music
between computer too. Its about time!

Now for the Sonnet G4/800 chip!
