I haven't had any issues with interleaved memory on my S900, but this is something that is iffy. It is supposedly a really pronounced issue if you have a G4 installed.
The L2 cache couldn't hurt, especially durning the install process (as would un-interleaving the memory), but I'd pull the L2 after installing because it is going to slow your system down by a fairly good amount. -Rob <quote who="David Chiu"> > I heard that XLR8 (and a number of others as well) has timing problems > with interleaved memory.
