I'm bias, but I'd go with the Daystar/XLR8 Carrier cards. You said it
yourself, you can replace the *much* cheaper ZIF. For the price I'd go
with the G4/350. But you won't really notice that much of a difference
unless you are running OSX. The G3 is faster, but in OSX the AltiVec
engine really makes a difference. However with the faster clock speed I'd
say go with the G3 if you are going to stay in OS9.
