I can't get OS X to install on my 9600/350G4(xlr8). 560meg RAM. I've purchased a VST UltraTek-66 ATA card and upgraded the firmware to firmTek 1.1.2. I connected a WD800JB disk configured as a master. I formated the disk with softraid 2.2.2. My first partition is less than 8gig. HFS+. Working fine under 9.2.2. Installed in the second PCI slot down.
Using XPostFacto 2.2.5 and an install OS X (10.1.2) disk from a Powermac G4 I get the following error, " no bootable HFS partition " in openfirmware 1.05 the boot-device = pci1/UltraTek-66E/FrmTk-0/@0:3 /AAPL,ROM boot-command = 0 bootr -v -s debug=0x20 rd=*scsi/@3:9 boot My question is: What am I doing wrong?
