Hey...Let's not get into a pissing match here...

This is a discussion list and occasionally folks will ask newbie questions. You have to start somewhere. Heck, if people didn't ask "new" questions we'd have no new subscribers to this list.


Ryan Rempel has updated his XPF site to reflect his progress on making Panther work on our machines. If Apple says no about certain things it just means that the installer does a hardware probe or a gestalt check. A hack is needed to bypass these little roadblocks that Apple sets up. If anyone can do it, Mr. Rempel can. Bless him...I can run Jag on my 7600. Out of the box, Panther will not run on anything without built in USB. Sooner than later XPF will come to the rescue. I am not worried at all. Til then, I wait.
