Hi listers,

Currently I am running Panther on my 7600 based G3 using Ryan Rempel's latest beta of XPF and his L2 Cache Config app. Of late I have had OSX hang upon boot when it tries to read the L2 cache settings (I still boot in verbose mode--it's the linux geek in me). A warm restart boots me fine but then the L2 cache is offline and I have to reenable it with the utility.

My questions are: Am I doing something wrong? My 7600 is well behaved under 9.1. Is there a better app for this? Are there drivers for MaxPowr cards that work under Panther beside Ryan Rempel's app?

Thank you,
Scott
