For all I am ticked off by Apple's Metal metastasis and the new Finder, I can't say that there are really all that many reasons to stay away from Panther if you can handle the GUI changes... the deep OS work including all the extra code brought in from FreeBSD is something I'd lik eto get in in.
And the 8G limit? I'd recommend splitting off that much for a system partition anyway. It's just common sense... two partitions gives you twice the chance of avoiding data loss if you corrupt the file system. -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
