Sometimes when I search for a file it doesn't show up in the results. I can go to where the file is located, it is still there. I've searched using the "visible & invisible items" and used the "copy" function to copy the name directly into Find so that there are no spelling errors or mistakes. I've got whole folders where Find can find no files? Any ideas? Kris Tilford
An example:
In the folder System->Library->Frameworks->Carbon.framework->Versions->A->Frameworks- >HIToolbox.framework->Versions->A->Resources is a bunch of .png files and some others (sample search name: ToolbarPoof.png ). If I search of any of these, they do not show up in Find. If files of the same name were also in a Previous Systems folder after an archive reinstall, they will show fine even thought they are a couple layers deeper, so it doesn't have anything to do with how far down they are. Permissions are fine, drive checks out fine with Disk Utility & DiskWarrior.
