I don't have exact details, but I too have a USB 2.0 card (halfway) working
in an old Mac, an S900.  The card currently only runs at USB 1.1 speeds
under OS 9, but should do 2.0 once I get around to putting OS X on the S900.

The card is a 2 port "generic" card from CompUSA.
