If you're going to share all your files anyway, why have two accounts?
Valid point, but she doesn't like the way I've got the dock (lots of apps therefore small icons), screen res also large res leading to small icons, background picture, etc. Lets be honest if it keeps her happy then that's got to be good too.
And I believe it better to have things like iPhoto libraries common to both users (in our case being husband and wife) but if I set up an account for either of our children then I will lock it down tighter.
