i run panther (10.3.8) on a 9600/300. the vital specs are:
450->466/1MB xlr8 upgrade 1GB RAM Radeon PCI R7200
ive crammed so many other cards and devices in there the machine weighs in at a hefty 40 lbs now
it is very usable, but after working with newer macs and PCs at work, the rift between this computer and newer technology is becoming very apparent. i purchased the 1GHz PL upgrade from OWC, but they are still on backorder :(
