I'm trying to get 10.2 on an 8500/120, using xpf; the cd drive spits out
the OS X install disk, but will read other disks. There is a newer tech
G4 card, 160 Mb RAM, and it seems to meet stated requirements. Any
ideas? I can find another cd drive and will try that next. I've also
tried connecting to another machine over the network, with the cd in
that drive - the xpf opening screen sees the cd but it, and the local hd
also, is greyed out, so I can't select either the volume to install on
or the cd to install from. It's the current xpf, OS 9.1 installed on th
8500. Thnaks for any help -
