I assume you have set up the share(s) on windows box?
Are you running XP or 98?
A good buddy of mine (who is windows savy) couldn't get windows box to mount, even if we tried static IP addressing. It turned out to be that the share hadn't been set up (along with the usual restarts and software install that is required to get this to happen).
We now have this XP laptop connected via an Airport express base station sharing files with 12in Pbook (also wireless), both sharing a DSL broadband connection.
If that doesn't work and you have access to copy of Dave or PCmaclan you can do it via Appletalk
