Google the part number and manufacturer of the drive. Also, xlr8 your mac web site may have a hack that will enable you to "support" it under OS X. My Yamaha CRW4260, just need a quick hack of the YamahaCDR.plugin to make it "supported". Unfortunately, I have found that I can burn CD's right in the finder, in iTunes, or Disk Copy, but that I can't really use the drive as a reader. Good for me that I left it as an external device, and didn't install it internally...that would have been frustrating. I think the OS, is trying to read the CD at the rate of the supported drive that I swapped in the plugin. -Lars DeRuntz 9500 OS X 10.2 with just a 604 -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[email protected]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> iPod Accessories for Less at 1-800-iPOD.COM Fast Delivery, Low Price, Good Deal www.1800ipod.com
