Thanks for pointing out OWC "SuperDrive it"...or whatever promotion it is, since that seemed to fit the bill real fine. Ordered Monday afternoon, and it was here Wednesday afternoon.
The Dual Layer drive DVR-110D installed easy enough, and seems to work & boots, although I haven't actually burned anything. I think I need to upgrade the disk in it first, so I have plenty of swap space, etc. I have a 120 GB drive that I am going to put in it tonight or tomorrow.
